Club

The Damascus Soccer Club is organized into four program areas.

  • Recreational Soccer - The Damascus Soccer Club Recreational Program offers soccer to any child from grade 1 through High School. Recreational soccer is ideal for younger players that want to learn about the sport or older players that enjoy soccer but don't want to devote the amount of time and effort required to play in the Select Soccer Program.
  • Select Soccer - The Damascus Soccer Club Select Program is targeted toward the advanced/highly motivated player. Select soccer teams typically practice and play year round.
  • DSC Academy - The DSC Academy is a program targeting the pre-school and kindergarten aged player. Damascus Soccer Club employs professional coaches to teach our youngest players the fundamental skills they need to enjoy the sport at their greatest potential.
  • The Club - Damascus Soccer Club organizes a number of "club wide" programs such as indoor play during the winter, the PassBack program to donate used soccer gear to those in need and Soccer Kicks for Cancer; a fundraising initiative for the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society.

Damascus Soccer Club is proud to announce a working partnership with National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI) through which we engage in a comprehensive background screening program.

Damascus Soccer Club has taken important steps to ensure the highest level of safety within our programs - for the youth participants and also for you, who make the programs a success. One of these steps is the implementation of a standardized approach to background screening for our coaches through the National Center for Safety Initiatives.  This includes a comprehensive background screening using the Center’s Check it Twice™ product and a simple “Red Light/Green Light” clearance report issued in accordance with the Recommended Guidelines®  published by the National Council of Youth Sports.  This is part of a national movement towards the standardization of safety programs for youth-serving organizations in this country.
